The visitor parking rules and regulations apartments are not the same for all societies so it is hard to mention them all. It is better that you enquire about it from the society management committee itself. In general, as far as I am aware, 25% of the space as per BMC should be reserved for visitor parking, but this has now been reduced to 5%. Also, there should be proper structures or markings for parking bicycles, 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers.
