For the inner plastering of brick walls, it is typically advised to use a cement and sand mixture in the ratio of 1:6 (1 part cement and 6 parts sand). Concrete walls, ceilings, and outer brick walls are plastered using a 1:4 (1 part cement to 4 part sand) mixture. If coarse sand is available, another mix ratio of 1:5 (1 part cement to 5 parts sand) is utilised, and a 1:3 mix (1 part cement to 3 parts sand) is used for repairs.
