Recently, I opened a savings account at Indian Overseas Bank. Here is the procedure to open a savings account in IOB.
Go to the IOB Bank branch.
Submit the request form to open a savings account.
Provide the required identity documents and passport-sized photo.
Once your application is approved, you will receive your new account details along with an ATM card, passbook, or checkbook, if applicable
Alternatively, you can also open your savings bank account using
Video Based KYC of IOB. I hope this will help you.
