The compressor warranty is set up as follows:
For inverter air conditioners, it consists of a regular one year warranty plus an extra nine years for the compressor.
For fixed speed air conditioners, a one-year basic warranty and four additional years for the compressor are included.
The buyer is only entitled to free compressor repair or replacement during the compressor's warranty period; any additional or ancillary costs for gas, labour, transportation, or other parts must be paid for by the buyer.
