The primary difference you see is the non presence of the hall in an RK, compared to BHK. An RK is a single room with an attached kitchen, just like a room has an attached bathroom. I have lived in both an RK and a 1 BHK, so let me explain this in depth.
How are RK and BHK Different?
RK: Like I said above, this house is like a single room. Here, you get the facility of a kitchen as well, along with a single bathroom. This space is ideal for one person to reside in. An RK is a more affordable option compared to a 1 BHK for people with tight budgets.
BHK: In a BHK, you get a hall, a separate bedroom and a separate kitchen. The bathroom may or may not be attached to the washroom. Here, you get a lot more space as three different spaces are provided. A 1 BHK is suitable for 1 to 2 people to reside in.
