I enquired from our LPG distributor about what is the current subsidy on gas cylinder and learnt that the subsidy is Rs. 300 per 14.2 kg cylinder. This subsidy is valid for up to 12 refills per year and is to be provided to the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) for FY 2024-25. Earlier, it was Rs 200, but last October, the government hiked the subsidy by Rs 100.

Enter your 17-digit LPG ID
Select your Gas Distributor and get to view your subsidy status
You can also download your gas provider’s mobile app, log in and check the subsidy status next, or simply call their customer service number and provide your LPG ID to know all the details.
