You can update the Aadhaar card information online and offline. If your biometric don’t match and need to be updated, here is how you can update them. However, please note that the Aadhar information can be updated online if you have your mobile number updated in the records. As OTP is necessary to make any changes in Aadhaar online, you will need the contact information updated in the documents.
How to unlock biometric in Aadhaar Card?Go to the official website of UIDAI
Navigate to ‘My Aadhaar’ and then click on ‘Lock/Unlock Biometric’ in Aadhaar services tab
Click on the check box and submit
Now enter 12 digital Aadhaar Number and captcha verification
Enter full name, pincode, and OTP after entering mobile number
You will visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Center
Now fill Aadhaar Enrollment or Aadhaar Update Form
Enter all the personal details as asked in the form.
The executive will ask you to provide your fingerprints (all 10 fingers), iris impression for authentication.
The executive will lock your data
The updated Aadhaar will be made available after a few days on your postal address.
