• Waste management:

  Fees for garbage pickup and disposal.

A few weeks ago, I moved into my flat for the very first time when I moved to Bangalore for my job. My flat was in a housing society, so as the first month went by, I soon received a society maintenance bill, and I started wondering what it was. • If I don't pay maintenance consistently, then the management can impose penalties or limitations on my use of shared facilities. This legal requirement helped me understand how essential on-time payments are to living harmoniously. 

• I really liked how societies frequently offer monthly, quarterly, or annual payment schedule flexibility so that the payers can select the one that best suits their budget.
