The directorate of estates in Delhi is responsible for the management of these properties. Since 1963, these properties have been allocated according to the provisions outlined in the government's residency rule in Delhi and 31 stations outside of the country's national capital, including Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, and many more.
Eligibility criteria:It is open for applicants who live within the bounds of the NCT. It is vital to note that the cabinet committee on accommodation, or CCA, must approve their places or dwellings.
Other individuals who work in government offices outside of Delhi are also eligible.The CCA must approve these petitions before they are forwarded to the directorate with the joint secretary's permission. They must also supply information about the office's status and whether the officer or department employees is eligible for residential housing from any other pool.
This is also available to any government employees who have access to a departmental housing pool.
Important to note the applicant has to present a document from the department confirming that no junior to the applicant has been issued allotment from the department.
Any certifications that fail to specify any of the above criteria will be rejected.
