I have been living in Bangalore for the last 3 years and always believed that among all the cities in India, this is the finest one. It is of course one of them but doesn't rank quite high in the Global Liveability Index 2021 India rank. My brother recently was talking about this index and that is when I got to know that The Global Liveability Ranking is basically an assessment done every year that ranks 172 global cities based on their urban quality of life based on aspects like: stability, healthcare, culture, education, infrastructure and environment. Which city has ranked first?Now it is not quite a shock that none of the cities of India has topped the list and the first place has been acquired by Vienna followed by Copenhagen. But can you even guess the global liveability index India rank? I bet no. My brother has been staying in Delhi since last year and Delhi is the city that has ranked the best from India but is at position 140 which indicates that it is not something to be very proud of. And the worst part is, Bangalore is not at all considered to be a very good city to live in.
What is the global liveability index 2021 list India rank?
Delhi has been followed by Mumbai at 141th position, Chennai and Ahmedabad at 142nd and 143rds rank in the list. Bangalore stands at 146th rank.
