Doors are the first element of home you see. There is a wide variety of doors available in the market from plywood, glass door, wooden doors, etc. In my quest to find a suitable and affordable door for my house. I asked people what is flush door and how it is better than other types. Keep reading to know what I learned.
These are simple doors that don’t have an intricate design on both sides. These doors are usually plain and used in the interior of the house. The door has a flush surface and is not divided into panels and design moulding, hence it is named as ‘ flush door’.
These doors are cost-effective but I don’t find their design appealing. If you are a fan of simple, solid-colored doors. You will like flush doors in your house. The wooden framework of the door is made with a core material that is solid. This gives it tensile strength. The finishing of the flush door is done with paint, veneer, or laminate. These doors can be custom-made and matched with the interior of your house.
For the most part, the thickness of a flush door ranges between 25mm to 40mm. Houses in India prefer to add flush doors because of its durability. It doesn’t twist easily because of heat or get damaged by water seepage.
This is all from my end on what is flush door. If you want to know more about them, I would recommend contacting an interior decorator.
