Depending on tariff plans and consumption levels, the price of one unit of electricity in WBSEDCL varies. West Bengal 1 unit electricity price often ranges between Rs. 7 and Rs. 8 per k/w.

For up to 102 units, the charges are Rs. 4.89 per unit. For consumption between 103 and 180 units, the price is Rs. 5.40 per unit; for consumption over 180 units, it is Rs. 6.41 per unit.
