The customer ID in Karnataka Bank, also referred to as the CIF (Customer Information File) number, is a unique identifier for every banking customer. This identifier remains consistent even if a customer holds multiple accounts with the bank, making it essential for unified access to services such as mobile banking, net banking, account statements, and other transaction records.

What is Customer ID in Karnataka Bank?

Knowing your Customer ID is crucial not only for logging into the KBL Mobile Plus app or internet banking but also for authentication during financial transactions and calls to customer care.

There are several convenient ways to retrieve your Karnataka Bank Customer ID:

  • When you download the

    KBL Mobile Plus

app or log in to Karnataka Bank’s online banking portal, your Customer ID (user ID) is displayed prominently, often on the homepage or under your profile section.

  • If you already registered your account for digital banking, simply logging in will allow you to view your CIF number.

  • On the first page of your bank passbook, beneath your name and account number, you'll find your Customer ID. If you use the KBL mPassBook e-passbook, the CIF number is displayed similarly under customer details.

  • When you receive a cheque book or the welcome letter issued with your new account, your Customer ID is printed under the customer details section. This is useful if you have these documents handy.

  • If you download your bank statement via mobile, net banking, or request a print copy, the Customer ID will be listed at the top of the statement, typically near your account number.

  • You can call Karnataka Bank’s toll-free numbers from your registered mobile. After verification of basic personal details, the customer service executive can provide you with your CIF/Customer ID.

  • If you prefer in-person support, visit your home branch with your account details and identity proof. Upon verification, bank staff will directly provide your Customer ID.

Hope this helps!
