What Causes Paint to Blister on Walls?
He told me that the formation of bubbles on walls is known as the blistering of paint. It happens due to various reasons such as direct sunlight exposure, too much heat, etc. Following this, he told me about the ways to fix it.
First of all, he asked me to remove the blisters with a scraper.
Following that, I had to clean the exposed surfaces.
The next step was to sand the area and prime it with a high-adhesive alkyd primer.
After the primer had dried, I had to re-paint the previously-bubbled surfaces.
And that’s how I was able to fix the blistering paint issue. I hope this information about what causes blistering in paint has been helpful to you.
