Builder floors are usually found on low-rise independent buildings. These residential units are constructed on a small/medium sized residential plot or land, wherein each floor is sold separately at different prices. A builder floor is built by the builder on his own or in collaboration with the landowner under a joint development agreement.
Difference between builder floor and apartment
A builder floor has one residential unit on a floor as per the floor plan. Whereas, usually in an apartment building, there are 2 or more residential units on a floor as per the floor plan with a common area such as a lobby or elevator.
