Generally, when any party passes away during a sale transaction, the legal heirs have the right to take it forward. But in case of a buyer, it is unclear as to whether the deal goes on or not since there are quite a few complications such as getting bank loan, its approvals, finances, legal heirs’ nod to the transaction, etc.
I believe you should get in touch with a good property lawyer and get better clarity on the same.
