The city council has now made it essential to post the approved plan on a board at building sites after creating zonal-based task force teams to put a stop to illegal workings. The applicant's building permit order also contains a requirement relating to the same. GHMC may demolish illegal floors in Hyderabad if an approved plan is not presented.

Despite the condition being listed in the regulations for building permits as of now, very few builders were discovered to be adhering to it, which led to the GHMC issuing the order. The exhibition of the approved plan is beneficial to home buyers, particularly those purchasing apartments rather than single-family homes, in addition to helping the officials checking the construction site.

According to officials, the likelihood of a property seeker being duped by false claims is further decreased by the number of permissible storeys, facilities like lung spaces, and other facts exhibited at the structure that is now under construction.

There have been cases where a penthouse or additional storey was built without the necessary building permits and sold to private individuals. If the plan is presented, situations like this might be avoided.

In accordance with the directive given by the GHMC on Friday, individuals infringing the rules by failing to exhibit the approved plan will face sanctions. Town planning officials were also sent a letter by GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar warning them to rigorously follow the guidelines given regarding plan display as any neglect will result in disciplinary action being taken against the offending official.

Ravi Kiran, the GHMC Zonal Commissioner, claims that 119 buildings out of the 407 illegal structures had received notices. The demolition drive will be started by a 30-person team. Unauthorised buildings have been found at Patancheru, Chandanagar, RC Puram, and other circles. This will go on, and the number will probably rise. There are 250 buildings among the total number of unlawful structures in Chandanagar's seven divisions. These regions fall within the Gachibowli division and include Raghavendra Colony, Srinagar Colony, Gokulpura, Kondapur, Prashanth Hills, Madhuranagar, Khajaguda, TSP Colony, Nallagandla, and others.

By utilising their connections inside the department, the developers are attempting to build the unlawful structures as soon as possible and make them legitimate. However, the Town Planning division has protested current developments and issued advisories. Locals, meanwhile, claim that because real estate prices are rising, unlawful constructions are occurring arbitrarily.
