Hi there, I am here to tell you about what does a home inspector look for. We recently got our home inspected, and we are looking forward to selling the house. The trained professional checked the entire structure of the house, from the foundation up to the room, analysing any potential defects and more. I’ll share the detailed list with you below.
What does a Home Inspection Consist of?
I asked the home inspector who visited our house about their general work. The person told me their lookout is to find things that aren’t working as they are designed to. They see what is missing and bring it to the attention of the buyer.
Let me describe these better.
- Safety Features:
One of the most essential things that a home inspector looks for are the safety features, which help protect the people of the house in case of emergency.
- The foundation:
The house foundation is another important component of the inspection. The inspector runs a proper check for cracks and damages in the foundation.
- Interior Systems:
The inspector also goes deep into checking the electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and heating systems of the house.
- Ventilation:
The next check consists of examining the ventilation of the house.
This is all from my side. I hope this helps.
