Hi,
As an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card holder, the documents required for registering a property in Tamil Nadu may include:
Original and photocopies of the OCI card.
Valid passport.
Proof of address, such as a utility bill or rental agreement.
Sale deed or property agreement.
Encumbrance certificate for the property.
Proof of payment of stamp duty and registration fees.
No-objection certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority if applicable.
PAN card (Permanent Account Number) if required.
Any other documents specifically requested by the registering authority or sub-registrar's office.
For the sale deed registration, you must also submit your current address proof documents (like utility bills) and passport-size photos in addition to your identification proof documents (like your passport and PAN card).
