Hi,

As an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card holder, the documents required for registering a property in Tamil Nadu may include:

  1. Original and photocopies of the OCI card.

  2. Valid passport.

  3. Proof of address, such as a utility bill or rental agreement.

  4. Sale deed or property agreement.

  5. Encumbrance certificate for the property.

  6. Proof of payment of stamp duty and registration fees.

  7. No-objection certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority if applicable.

  8. PAN card (Permanent Account Number) if required.

  9. Any other documents specifically requested by the registering authority or sub-registrar's office.

For the sale deed registration, you must also submit your current address proof documents (like utility bills) and passport-size photos in addition to your identification proof documents (like your passport and PAN card).
