There are several types of drawers in modular kitchen, and each is designed for a certain function. Some common types of modular kitchen drawers are pull-out spice racks, deep pot drawers, cutlery drawers, and appliance drawers. I came to know this during the interior work of my kitchen. Let’s go one by one to each type.

Pull-out Vertical Spice Rack

It maximises storage capacity by making use of the entire height of a cabinet or pantry door. This allows you to store a large quantity of spices in a relatively small space.

Tiered Kitchen Drawer

You may classify and arrange items in several tiers because of the tiered kitchen drawer design. It is possible to put less regularly used items in the lower tier and frequently used items in the top.

Deep Pot Drawers

These are often seen around the stove. Suitable for heavy, bulky objects such as pots, pans, casserole dishes, and large mixing bowls. This frees up useful counter and cabinet space for other necessities.

Cutlery Drawers

Usually, shallow, cutlery drawers are perfect for under-counter spaces or base cabinets. Conventional cutlery drawers include distinct sections to keep various utensils, such as knives, spoons, forks, and teaspoons, apart. However, compartmented, detachable cutlery trays provide more versatility and are simple to remove for refilling or cleaning.

Tall Unit Drawers

Tall units add an essential amount of space to your countertop. It is ideal for maintaining your countertop uncluttered and holding small equipment like toasters, food processors, and blenders.

Under-sink Drawers

It can be found right under the sink and is deeper than standard drawers. Additionally, these are made to fit around plumbing pipes. They frequently have a U-shape or other unique form.

Appliance Drawers

To classify and arrange various appliances and their accessories, use drawer dividers, organisers, or little baskets. Some kitchen designs may have a cabinet with a pull-out drawer with an electrical outlet, even though it isn't a dedicated appliance drawer. This enables you to keep power-dependent items plugged in for convenient use while storing them inside the drawer.

Apart from these drawers, there are more modular kitchen drawer types. Those are wicker drawers, shallow drawers, corner drawers, and a nested drawer. I considered factors like my kitchen's size, storage requirements, and usage patterns when selecting the drawer combination.
