It is a valuable location because it is close to multiple schools, universities, retail areas, restaurants, hospitals, banks, ATMs, and other businesses. A good bus system is also available in the neighbourhood. The project is barely 2 minutes from the St Thomas Mount railway station, and the Chennai International Airport is around 5.5 kilometres away. The planned metro railway network will help improve the area's overall connectivity.

All residents at Puravankara Somerset House enjoy instant access to some of the most highly wanted amenities, such as a Gymnasium and Power Backup. If you enjoy sports, there are facilities available for you, such as cycling and jogging tracks. Other amenities include a spa/sauna/steam room, Internet / Wi-Fi, and project provisions. Apart from the Swimming Pool, children can enjoy the adjoining Children's Play Area. It's a private gated community. Puravankara Somerset House is your home away from home.
