What are the HDFC Bank NRI Account Documents?
Here are the documents you’ll need to open an NRI account in HDFC Bank.
An ID Proof, like a copy of your PAN card or the Form 60 (if you don’t hold a PAN card).
Photocopy of your passport.
Proof that you’re an NRI, where you need to present either a copy of your valid visa, work permit or overseas resident card.
Your address proof, where the address should be the same as the address you shared in the account opening application form.
A passport-size photograph.
An initial payment cheque/draft from your own account.
All these documents need to be attested by either of the following:
Authorised officials of overseas branches of the scheduled commercial banks registered in India.
Notary public abroad.
Court Magistrate.
Judge.
Branches of the overseas banks with whom the Indian banks hold relationships.
The Indian Embassy or the Consulate General in the country where you as the NRI reside.
