Changing your property from B Khata to A Khata is essential if you want to sell your property, apply for loans or apply for trade licenses. If you want to possess your land permanently and have legal rights on your property you must convert B Khata to A to Khata. I am not aware if the government has stopped this process recently. I didn’t see that on the news anywhere. You can check with the authorities. I believe you can get A khata done at this point.

How to convert B Khata property to A Khata property?

If the property owner can clear all the dues like property tax, DC conversion charges, and the payment of betterment charges they can convert B Khata to A Khata.

List of Documents required to convert Khata:
  1. Sale deed.

  2. Title deed.

  3. Receipt of previously paid property tax.

  4. Copy of transferring the land from agricultural to non-agricultural use.

  5. Blueprint of the property location.

  6. Blueprint of the dimension of property and other details.

  7. Documents showing the payment of improvement charges

  8. Occupancy certificate

  9. Khata extract

  10. Other documents to convert to A Khata.

5 easy steps to convert your Khata offline:
  1. You need to apply for District Commissioner Conversion to transform your agricultural land into non-agricultural land.

  2. You must clear all the tax that was due.

  3. You must fill and get the Khata from the BBMP office.

  4. All the required documents are mentioned in the form. You must have all the documents with yourself.

  5. The fee required to convert the khata is called the betterment fee and it is levied by BBMP. Submit the forms, documents, and tax receipts to the assistant revenue offer of the area you belong.

After the submission of the form, your Khata document will be issued within four to six weeks.

Hope you know how to make
