According to the AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of all Regions Bill 2020, Visakhapatnam has been declared as the executive capital of the state. In this bill, three capitals were declared: Vizag as executive capital, Kurnool as judicial capital and Amaravati as the legislative capital.
As per the real estate experts, the property prices have increased by 25-50% in Vizag after the bill was passed. While on an average, plots and flats on the outskirts of Vizag witnessed an increase in prices by 20% to 25%.
