Sir, a person died intestate leaving behind his wife and a married daughter 30 years ago to succeed to agriculture land of 8acres. Later the widowed wife retained 2 acres in her name and alienated 6 acres by way of a partition deed to her blood relatives in 1996 and died after 5 years. Her married daughter is also nomore. After lapse of 25 years the legal heirs of her married daughter(son and grand son of daughter) are trying to alienate the entire property. What is the legal position? Can the other persons who are in possession & enjoyment take the plea of Adverse possession? Please post some remidy.
