Since, the title of the flat is in the name of one of the daughters and not the mother, that means the ownership of the property is in the name of that daughter. Therefore, it can not be distributed further among other sisters.

The mother jointly owned a flat in co-op society with one of her four unmarried daughters in Mumbai. The mother passed away a few years ago without a legal Will. How would the flat be inherited and transferred to the remaining three daughters?
