The stamp duty and registration charges for redevelopment can range between Rs. 100 to Rs. 1,000 per unit. But according to the department of Maharashtra, the residents moving to their apartments do not need to pay stamp duty. The developers are required to pay the stamp duty on the redevelopment agreement.
