Don't panic if a payment appears to be successful, but your bank account isn't credited with the money. Here are the methods you can follow to resolve it: 

  • Wait 24 to 48 hours initially because reversals occur automatically.

  • Then, check your transaction reference number and bank statement. Bank processing delays may cause payments to take 24 to 72 hours. 

  • Get in touch with your bank, the payment app, or the merchant using the transaction ID if the money hasn't been credited. 

If these methods do not work, file a formal complaint with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in case of UPI issues. If your bank doesn’t respond, contact RBI.
