Hi,
Possessing occupancy certificate (OC) of the building is not necessary for housing societies to apply and receive deemed conveyance, state cooperation department officials recently said while citing a ‘rather unknown’ government resolution (GR) of 2018, which was brought into speed up deemed conveyance for such societies across Maharashtra.
However, the facility comes with a rider, wherein the housing society is required to submit a self-declaration form, affirming that it would pay the necessary dues and get OC from the local authority later.
