Hi there,
First of all I would like to tell you that I totally understand your annoyance and displeasure. I would have been disappointed too if I were in your situation. But I am glad to tell you that there is a legal way in which you can get the housing society or the builder to respond to you.
A housing society whose project has been cancelled may ghost you after receiving payment for the property. But in such cases you can file a complaint to the Registrar on the issue of ‘Misappropriation of Funds’. After the complaint is filed, the registrar holds the responsibility of looking into the matter and then sending a legal notice to the housing society or the builder for the same.
My friend was in a somewhat similar situation like yours where he wanted to complain against the housing society for not implementing a car parking area as per the Bylaws of the Society. Here is a response which guided him to do so.
How to complain against the Co-Op HSG Society for not implementing a Car parking area as per the bylaws of the Society?I hope this answer helps you out.

No one is calling me after getting the payment. The project is cancelled already due to your false commitment and now no one responding regarding a refund. What to do?
