Affidavit Submission: The affidavit has all the details regarding the land i.e, the current name of the landowner, the new name of the landowner, the reason for the change and the current address. This affidavit must be signed by two gazetted officers with a notary attached to it.
Ad publication: The announcement of the name change should be published in two newspapers. One in an English Newspaper and the other one in the state official language newspaper. Submit the proofs such as New name, old name, DOB (Date of Birth), and address are the details for publication
Gazette Notification: You should send the documents to the department of publication to finish off the legal procedure
Go to the land registry office: Submit the proof to change the name of the owner and pay the amount required to update your name in the land record details.
After the verification of the documents, your name will be updated.
