After that, they asked me to send them a copy of my bank statement showing the excess EMI deduction. So, I had to visit my nearest Axis Bank with a photo ID proof. And that was it. Later, I also learned that the same can be carried out through email as well. If you plan on using your email, ensure that you use your registered email ID.
