A will does not require to be registered compulsorily as per the Registrato. Therefore, the property is registered in your name if the will was made and you are eligible to sell the property.

My Husband and I had two properties both held jointly with my name as the first owner. We paid for the properties with our salaries and savings. He made a Will bequeathing his share to me but this will was not registered and he passed away suddenly . what do I have to do to get the properties transferred in my sole name as I wish to sell one of them?
