Hey,
Since your grandmother’s property is in your father’s name now, he can transfer this property as a gift to you. However, it is required to be backed by a registered document, signed by your father and attested by at least 2 eyewitnesses. He can’t just gift the property without completing the legal procedure. A gift deed is required to be registered in the sub-registrar’s office, just like a sale deed.
Similarly, he can also give this property to you by writing your name as a beneficiary in the Will.
