Hi Buddy,

I am not able to understand the exact intent of your question. However, I believe you are concerned about the wrong details in the property documents.

For which I would like to say that, an affidavit that is duly signed and clearly says that both names belong to one person and that this error occurred due to oversight should be filed to the land registry department to correct the spelling mistake, middle name missing, and so on. The name will be updated after the documents have been verified.

When a property is freshly registered and the name is misspelled, a rectification deed can be created with the buyer's and seller's approval to amend the name changes in land records. Along with the rectification deed, the original sale deed should be included and recorded.

Verify all the documents and rectify them from the experts of NoBroker legal services.
