The maximum tenure of a secretary in a CHS during their lifetime is 5 years from the date on which he is elected. It should not be more than the expiry of the term of the committee and the same applies to the Secretary and Treasurer as well.
If the CHS secretary has been holding the position for more than 20 years and failed to conduct an election, then you can file a case against him with the cooperative court. And that’s about it. I hope this helps.
