Recently, I came across the term Nationalised Bank and I started doing some research to know about it. After the research, I learned that Nationalised Banks are banks that are owned and managed by the Government directly. The profits made from these banks are used for public welfare instead of private gains. Following this, I started searching, is Bank of Maharashtra Nationalised Bank or not.
Bank of Maharashtra Nationalised Bank or Not?
After my research, I learned that the Bank of Maharashtra is a nationalised bank and it was done in 1969. I also learned that the bank was established in 1935, and it was nationalised along with 11 other banks. I have added the list of all the nationalised banks below.

Bank of Baroda

Central Bank of India
