For executing a sale deed there are some documents you will need all property documents like
Sale deed
Mother deed
Khata certificate
Tax paid receipt
Encumbrance certificate
Sale agreement and more
However, the building layout plan is not mandatory, but if asked by government officials, you are bound to provide it as well. It is hence better to ask the sub-registrar whether the layout plan is needed or not, but in all probability, it's not.
