I have been working as a painter for the last 7 years. According to my knowledge, the size of the room, the difficulty level, and the artist's level of experience all affect how long it takes to complete a painting. Due to my skill level and lots of practice, I can complete the wall painting of one small room in 7 hours. However, for a bigger room, seven hours is not enough time to finish if you want multiple coats, and consider the time it takes for one coat to dry up.
