Hey,
Don’t worry if your surname is not mentioned in the property tax receipt. It is easy to change your name in the property tax, provided that you’ve all these documents ready:
Duly filled application form
NOC from the housing society
An attested copy of the sale deed that is in your name
Receipt of the last tax paid on the house
Just submit all these documents to the Revenue Commissioner. After that, he will verify the application and all the documents. The change will be reflected in the records within 15-30 days.
