To change the name on the educational certificate you need to contact your school or college.
You should write a letter to the institution regarding the name change and submit ID proof to your father. Talk to the principal for guidance and do mention the reason to change the name in the study certificate. You need to contact the board’s office to change the name as well. The process will take a little bit of time but with proper patience you will be able to change the name in the school certificate.
Alternatively, you can change your father’s name on your Aadhar card by visiting the nearest e-dhara Kendra. For this, you need to apply for an affidavit and put an ad in the newspaper. Your name will be verified by the department of commerce and Secretary of transportation to verify the paperwork. After getting the approval you can contact your organisation to get the name changed.
