As far as I know, you cannot cancel the E-Way bills after 24 hours. A consignor can cancel the E-Way bill only before 24 hours. But the receiver can cancel an E-Way bill within 72 hours of receiving the bill.
For this you need to visit;
E-way bill system portal.
Choose the cancel option from the e-way bill tab.
You need to enter the E-Way number to cancel your E-Way bill.
After entering the 12-digit E-way number hit 'Go'.
Mention the reason to cancel the E Way bill.
