I want to tell you that the bank only checks documents like identity proof, address proof, bank statement, salary slips, proof of business, etc. before giving the plot loan.
However, it doesn’t guarantee that the plot is free from fraud. To avoid legal issues in the future, you should check these documents before buying a plot:
succession certificate/gift deed/sale deed/partition deed, etc. available with the jurisdictional sub-registrar, the approved drawings of the plot map, property tax, receipts, completion certificate, occupancy certificate, etc.
