The whole purpose of making a will is that you want to interfere with the normal line of succession. The division should be done as per the will.
If the will is not specific or detailed with respect to the point you mentioned, you may approach court.

I & my brother had agreement in 2016 to divide two adjacent plots (25ft & 12ft) half half. Can now I claim in court for half half portion in both plots separately as per will of my lt . Father
