I’m sorry to hear that. If an illegal construction has been done in your DDA flat, you can take the following steps:
You can approach the civil court citing “danger posed by this illegal structure”. You need to submit all the documents which you procured through RTI. The court will direct authorities like MCD and Delhi police to act as per legal provisions prescribed in law.
You can also write a complaint with the letter of MCD obtained through RTI and photographs of unauthorized construction and send it to DDA through WhatsApp, which is introduced by DDA for noticing complaints about unauthorized constructions. You will get the details for sending your complaint on the DDA website and hopefully your complaint will be considered and action will be taken.
