I and my husband bought a plot of land where it is under a joint name and mine is the first name. My husband (co-owner) died. He did not get registered WILL in my favour. My children (above 18 years) consent to transfer it over to solely my name. How do I go about this, and as an NRI, how do I appoint a Power of Attorney to help me with the sale of the plot? Any recommendations on brokerage or agents who can help me? Please guide me to carry out above mentioned task.
