The Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) was created in 1975. Later in 2008, by merging it with the surrounding mandals, it was formed as the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.
Buying HMDA/HUDA layout approved properties has its own advantages. The advantage of HMDA-approved plots includes excellent infrastructure development. It is mandatory that a developer/buyer has to build amenities, such as a proper water system, drainage and electricity system, along with well-laid roads, street plantation and lighting.
The best way to find a HUDA/HMDA plot is to look for one online on the realty websites. There are many available online. You can also check the local newspaper (the classified section).
