- Date :
On the
upper right-hand portion of the check, you will need to
fill in the date.Month, day, and year need to be in place or the check isn’t filled out correctly.
1.Month/Day/Year (such as 10/22/2021 or 10/22/21)
Month Day, Year (such as October 22, 2021, or Oct. 22, 2021)
- Pay to the Order Of :
You’ll need to write or print the payee’s name on the “pay to the order of” line. You'll write the account holder’s name here.
- Rupee amount box :
Write out your rent amount using numbers, in the blank spot where a rupee sign is printed on the checkYou can include both rupees and paise.
- Check amount line (written using words) :
Below the “Pay to the order of” field, you’ll see a blank line on the right-hand side. You need to write out your rent amount here.
- Account number:
Usually the account number is written on the lower left-hand side. You have to write the exact account number or the check will bounce.
