Let me tell you that only a licensed electrician should wire a fuse box (distribution board/DB) in a home, as it is risky. Therefore, unless you are a qualified electrician,

DO NOT try

to wire a fuse box yourself. Here is how to wire a fuse box in a house:

  1. Find the main power supply and turn it off before you begin. Usually, a disconnect switch next to the breaker box or the meter will have this.

  2. Now, ensure there is no current entering the panel by using a voltage tester.

  3. Determine which circuits will be connected to each breaker.

  4. To prevent confusion during installation, carefully label the circuits.

  5. When installing a new breaker box, you must ensure the fuse box is easily accessible by securing it to the wall. Ensure it is level and has adequate space for future additions and wiring.

  6. Attach the main service lines to the panel's primary breaker. This breaker functions as a switch to regulate the entire electrical supply.

  7. Next, attach the neutral bus bar to the neutral wire, which is often white.

  8. Connect the bare or green ground wire to the ground bus bar. The neutral and ground bars may be joined in some panels, but in the latest fuse box, they are kept apart for greater security.

  9. Remove roughly half an inch of the black or red insulation from the hot wires.

  10. To secure the stripped wire, insert it into the breaker terminal and tighten the screw.

  11. You must ensure the breaker is securely positioned on the bus bar before snapping it into the panel.

  12. Check the voltage and continuity of each breaker using a multimeter.

  13. Now, label each breaker with the circuit that corresponds to it, such as "Kitchen Outlets" or "Living Room Lights."

  14. Finally, to test the system, switch the power back on now.

This is not a DIY process. This is all about how to connect wire to fuse box house.
