Recently, I installed a ceiling fan on my first-floor balcony. To get the work done, I hired an electrician. While he was working, I asked him how to connect a ceiling fan to a wall switch. He continued working and explained it to me simultaneously. Here is what he told.
How to Install Wall Control for Ceiling Fan?
First, switch off the power from the main board to ensure safety.
Remove the old light fitting and check if the ceiling box is strong enough to hold the fan.
Fix a strong metal bracket to the ceiling to support the fan.
After that, assemble the fan by attaching the blades and downrod to the motor.
For wiring, connect the black wire to black, the white wire to the white neutral, and the green wire to the earth wire for grounding.
Connect the fan wiring to the wall switch, so the fan can easily operate.
Once the wiring is done, mount the fan on the bracket and cover everything with the canopy.
Finally, turn the power back on and test the fan using the wall switch.
This is how he did the wiring work for the ceiling fan. Hope this helps you.

I would like to share the process of connecting a ceiling fan to a double-wall switch. Here is the complete method.
The first step is to take safety precautions and turn off the power connection by either removing the fuse or switching off the circuit breaker.
With the help of a screwdriver, remove the cover place, as well as the switch from the electrical box.
Now, you need to see the wires, which are coming from the ceiling fan and the electrical box. Usually, these wires are labelled, but if that’s not the case, take the help of a voltage tester and check the live wires.
Next, connect the neutral wire of the electrical box with the white wire of the ceiling fan. Connect the black wire to a switch wire, and if there’s a blue wire, connect that to the other switch wire.
In this step, you are required to connect both the switch wires with the hot wire from the electrical box.
After connecting all these wires, cautiously push them back into the box and mount the switches. Lastly, place back the cover plate.
